Trampoline Is

“'Trampoline Is…' is a mesmerizing triptych video installation featuring slow-motion trampoline athletes overlaid with video portraits of staring eyes. This immersive experience blurs the lines between spectator and spectacle, inviting viewers to contemplate their role in the dynamic interplay of observation and performance. The video is made to be very mesmerizing, including ambient noise as well as audio from an interview that depicts the perspective of a high-level trampoline athlete. I shot the trampoline videos on location for this project with the use of studio lighting. I shot the video at a 120 fps frame rate then further interpolated the footage to multiply the amount of frames by 4x to achieve the hyper slow-motion videos in my project. This project is included to tie my thesis work together and give the viewer insight into what my work is all about."
